This scholarship is sponsored through the generosity of the Southern Utah Trucking Association (SUTA). SUTA is an organization of the trucking industry operating in Southern Utah and is affiliated with the state and national trucking associations. The scholarship is the result of the desire from the trucking industry to give back to the community by helping high school and college students further their education. Qualifying students may receive a scholarship to assist them with tuition, fees and other program costs.
Preference will be given, but is not limited to, students who are:
- Working towards an education in trucking industry related fields such as:
- Drivers
- Mechanics
- Safety Personnel
- Operations Logistics
- Human Resources
- Members of the Utah Trucking Association and their friends or family
- Southern Utah Residents
- Students Attending Schools in Utah
June 30th, 2025, 5:00pm
- Must attach proof of registration or admittance to an accredited, trade school, college or university - Scholarships may be awarded for professional certificates as well.
- Must have a GPA of at least a 2.5 or higher.
- Must attach a document that shows proof you are enrolled as an active student.
- Must complete and submit the application form and essays below.
- Upload photo of yourself to be published in association materials.
- If selected, student must provide a thank you letter to the Utah Trucking Association.
